Standard packaging is intended for use with commerical lashers such as Class C and D. We also offer made to order (MTO) tapered hub coils.
There are six coils per box (378 coils per pallet). Minimum order 1 box. Footage lengths are plus/minus 30 ft. All wire is produced in accordance with standard specification for lashing wire and can be certified to same upon request.
Wire is wax coated as per AT-7153. All lashing wire is packaged with four plastic ties. This offers the most consistant package tension. Plastic ties are also the safest and easiest to use compared with string or wire ties.
Century Wire Strand is High Quality, Class A EHS Galvanized Strand. Available in 1/4" 5/16" 3/8" 5000 ft or 2500 ft reels

Lashing Wire Grade Types
Type 430(S43000) This type is a magnetic thermally non-hardening ferritic stainless steel alloy containing about 17% chromium with no nickel or molybdenum rendering it suseptible to corrosion attack. Suitable for general use and in ordinary atmospheric exposure. Specifically not recommend for use within 25 miles of saltwater or industrial operations which emit pollutants.
Type 302(S30302) This is an austenitic, non-magnetic and thermally non-hardening stainless steel. Corrosion and oxidation resistance is provided by the 17% Minimun Chromiumand the 8% mimimun nickel content.
Type 316 (S31600) This is also an austenitic,non-magnetic and thermally non-hardening stainless steel. In comparison to type 302, the nickel content is increased from 8% to 10% min. and includes the addition of up to 3% molybdenum. This has a higher corrosion resistance than the 302. More resistant to the corrosive actions of most chemicals, including chlorides and sulfides, than other wire. Particularly resistant to pitting and pin hole corrosion of the kind commonly caused by saltwater spray. It is used to provide the best insurance against failure under the most severe atmospheric conditions.
